General day to day:
- Model calm, respectful behaviour and encourage socially acceptable behaviour.
- Supervise young people throughout the day to maintain safety and appropriate boundaries.
- Support young people with routines: waking, meals, hygiene, school prep, accessing activities, good sleep hygiene/bedtime routine.
- Provide guidance and emotional support during daily activities.
- Participate in and lead activities and outings.
What your team need from you:
- Write daily logs and attend team meetings.
- Share relevant information with the team during handovers.
- Attend supervision and training to be able to work well together.
- Maintain a clean home, contributing to home tasks.
- Follow all safeguarding procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Drive or escort young people to school, appointments, activities and shopping trips.
- Complete sleep‑in duties when scheduled.
- Contribute to a calm, stable, emotionally secure home environment.
Desirable:
You will hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or related) or be working towards level 4 diploma.
Essential:
- Empathy, patience & strong communication skills, teamwork.
- Driving license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Be physically active.

Current working pattern (full time): 8am-10pm or 8am-11pm+sleep on a 2 on, 3 off basis
